Step 1: Collaborative Discussion
You will meet with your EWM Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) and learn about the services and special programs we offer. During this process we will get to know you and answer any questions you may have. There is no pressure and no sales gimmick. This is a collaborative exchange between you and the EWM advisor. The objective of this meeting is simply to determine if there is a good fit between your asset management needs and Essential Wealth Management.

Step 2 Required Documents
Once you decide that Essential Wealth Management is the place for you, we will begin to review and complete the necessary paperwork which includes:

1) Client advisor agreement

2) Form ADV – Firm Brochure

3) Client risk profile questionnaire

4) Custodian compliance forms

You will have all the time you need to review and complete these documents. These documents are required for compliance purposes and serve to establish the professional relationship between you and Essential Wealth Management.

Step 3 New Account Set-up / Asset Transfer
Over the next 10 business days EWM will work to ensure that your assets are transferred to our custodian. During this time your EWM advisor will contact you with updates on the status of your asset transfer and to answer any questions you may have. Once the assets are transferred to our custodian, the account will begin to be actively managed according to the appropriate EWM strategies agreed to by the client.

Step 4 Follow-up Meetings / Communication
The amount of communication, between EWM and our clients, varies by client depending primarily upon the client’s needs. We understand our clients are busy and seek a relationship with us because they don’t have the time or expertise to manage their investments themselves. With this in mind, we will communicate with you as frequently or as little as you desire. Most clients meet with us once a year for an annual review. We generally speak with most clients via phone quarterly, if not more often. Clients can also look forward to the EWM quarterly newsletter.

While every client relationship is different, the process for becoming a client was designed with you in mind. It is our commitment to you that we will never pressure you into making a decision you aren’t comfortable with or don’t fully understand. We will never sell you a product you don’t need. At Essential Wealth Management, the best interest of our clients is the best interest of our firm.
